SimplexTAS 101

SimplexTAS 101

The SimplexTAS 101 is a compact, portable point-of-care analyzer designed to deliver clinical chemistry and immunoassay results using just a few microliters of whole blood, plasma, or serum. It performs true wet-chemistry, stepwise reactions similar to benchtop laboratory analyzers but packaged in a 3.4-kg device ideal for primary care, sports medicine, and decentralized testing environments. Its one-step, cartridge-based workflow eliminates pipetting and pretreatment, enabling rapid, versatile testing across diabetes, kidney, liver, inflammation, sports-injury, and metabolic markers. With multi-parameter capability, built-in printing, and storage for thousands of patient records, the SimplexTAS 101 offers lab-like performance wherever it travels — from clinics to locker rooms.

Analyzer & Design

  • Compact footprint: 265 × 217 × 262 mm, 3.4 kg, fully portable.

  • Built-in touchscreen display and thermal printer.

  • Stores 2,000 patient results and 200 QC results.

  • No pipetting, no pretreatment, no extra consumables.

  • Cartridge-based testing with auto-start when lid closes.

Workflow

  • Simple 1-step test using fingertip whole blood or standard samples.

  • Insert cartridge, close lid, result is generated automatically.

  • Up to 4 different tests or 4 different samples in a single 13-minute run (sports version).

  • Suitable for home-and-away scenarios in sports teams and field medicine.

Sample Requirements

  • Sample volumes: 4, 10, or 20 µL depending on parameter.

  • Accepts whole blood, plasma, and serum.

  • Reagents stored at 2–8°C, shelf life 12–18 months.

Testing Technology

  • Wet-chemistry, multi-step reaction process — similar to standard laboratory analyzers.

  • Stepwise reaction sequence: initial → 1st reaction → 2nd reaction → 3rd reaction.

  • High measurement accuracy comparable to established reference devices.
